Listing a Token
Most established tokens already live on five to ten chains. Adding NetZero Chain is one more entry in the deploy script, and it comes with something no other chain gives you: every transaction of your token funds verified carbon removals, enforced by the protocol.
What you do
- Deploy your token contract (ERC-20, ERC-721, whatever you have) with Hardhat or Foundry. Same bytecode, same audits.
- Bridge supply if the token is canonical elsewhere. Any burn-and-mint bridge (LayerZero OFT, Wormhole NTT, your own) works on an EVM chain; NetZero Chain's own USDn bridge is a separate, later component.
- Seed a pool on a DEX deployed on the chain, or deploy your own AMM.
- Tell your users: add the network (chain ID 20500), gas is USDn, a transfer costs about two cents.
What you get
- A green claim you can prove. "Available on a carbon-negative chain" with the block-level fee split, Carbon Fund balance and CDRT supply as evidence, and the custody and audit trail behind them. See Green by Protocol.
- Predictable costs for your users, in dollars.
- Finality in one block for your integrations.
- No token to hold. Your users never need to acquire a NetZero coin; they need USDn for gas, which on the mainnet design is a dollar they deposit or earn.
What you do not have to do
- Pay a listing fee. There is none.
- Buy or hold anything. There is no native token to hold.
- Change your contracts. The EVM is standard Shanghai.
- Run infrastructure. Public RPC and the explorer are provided; you can also run a node with one command.
On the testnet
Deploy today against the public testnet (or a local one). USDn there is test money; treat it as a staging environment for the mainnet launch.
